Exquisite platinum jewellery from the PlatAfrica Jewellery Design and Manufacturing competition will be showcased on some of the finalists at the Miss South Africa 2017 pageant taking place this weekend.
The pageant will be hosted at Sun City and will be broadcast live on Sunday, March 26 on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) and M-Net (Channel 101).
For our Platinum business, Miss South Africa is the ideal partnership to demonstrate the enormous potential that platinum has to create exquisite jewellery pieces of timeless quality. During her reign, Miss South Africa will also wear rare platinum jewellery to high-profile public appearances.

PlatAfrica takes place in association with the Platinum Guild International (PGI) India and Metal Concentrators, and serves as more than just a jewellery design competition but as a skills development tool to unearth South Africa's best creative talent. PlatAfrica is therefore the perfect platform for jewellery and manufacturing aspirants to launch their designs and compete on a global stage.

All the winners will be announced at a gala event on 2 November 2017 and will be considered for participation in PGI India’s design sourcing process in 2018.
