In accordance with the recent announcements by Anglo American plc (“Anglo American”) to dispose of certain non-core businesses, including its majority interest in the Peace River Coal Limited Partnership (“PRC”) Anglo American announces that it has entered into agreements with its minority limited partners, NEMI Northern Energy & Mining Inc. and Hillsborough Resources Limited, which will facilitate the sale of up to 100% of PRC.

In accordance with the recent announcements by Anglo American plc (“Anglo American”) to dispose of certain non-core businesses, including its majority interest in the Peace River Coal Limited Partnership (“PRC”) Anglo American announces that it has entered into agreements with its minority limited partners, NEMI Northern Energy & Mining Inc. and Hillsborough Resources Limited, which will facilitate the sale of up to 100% of PRC. Anglo American has retained CIBC World Markets Inc. (CIBC) to assist with the sale process.
